What role did Schroder play, according to Friedman?  o    She had strong and specific ideas about early childhood, open space and modern family. That helped to create and shape an elaborate design that fit the program. Based on Friedman's essay, what is the program that defined Rietveld's design? Synthetic and solid/void assignment

Synthetic and solid/void assignment Main interests: zig-zag movement expanding and shrinking corners My solid/void model was an experiment on how zigzag patterns affect space defining One of the things I enjoy most in my model are the voids that appear to be small and insignificant on the outside but very complicated and special on the inside I am also caught up by the imprints of triangular shapes on the outside of the model. The create a specific direction of movement that is useful in creating a unified model with clear approach

Analising photos

 1. Serena acted as tool to stop the door, to fix it in a 90 degree angle. Her body followed the frame of the door also in a 90 degree angle, the distance between her head and lower back are almost the length of the door . In addition to that, the angle of the photo is taken so that her legs align with a outside frame of the door.  2. On the second picture we tried to utilize a very universal object in relation to the body. The body is wrapped over the object creating a continuous up and down line that reflects the cubic shape of the object. The picture is also taken so that one can see from the top in order to show not only two dimensional relation to the object but also 3d one. 3. I was always curious about those corner couches in the dorms. So we tried to align Serens's body with the horizontal zigzag motion perpendicular to the way people usually sit on those couches. Moreover, if you turn the picture to the right you will see that the couch still looks the same and the
